We have some of the most stunning natural landscapes in the country right out our back door here in Durango, why not learn how to capture them in paint? In this 2 part class, we will begin by discussing the fundamentals of painting composition and useful watercolor techniques. If you so desire, you can use the knowledge from our first class to go out on your own composition adventure to take a picture of a vista you’d like to paint in the next class. Or try painting it while you’re there, and we can work to improve it in the next class! Bring your latest adventure photo or a photo of your favorite spot, and we will work through the process of capturing it in paint in week 2.
All materials provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer ($10 discount)
Previous watercolor experience is helpful but not required!
