Join me at Molas Lake for an evening of plein air watercolor painting in the mountains! There will be three sessions - every one will be slightly different because the landscape will be slightly different each time. The dates are:
Tuesday, 7/21
Tuesday, 8/11
Thursday, 8/27
Class will be from 5-7pm. Please bring everything you will need to be comfortable sitting outside at high elevation for 2 hours. This means snacks, layers, chairs, hats, etc.
I will walk through the process of selecting a subject, creating the composition, and how to create a watercolor painting in the wild. I can do a demonstration then answer questions, or a step-by-step paint-along of the whole process. Whatever the class feels like for the day!
Registrants will get an email with more detail about the class as it approaches. I will bcc all registrants so that people can coordinate carpooling if they would like.
Please note: There are a minimum number of students I need for each class to run. If I don't have enough sign ups within 24hrs of class, I will reach out to you and give you the option to transfer your registration to a later class (if available), or I will issue a full refund. I will also keep an eye on weather and may cancel day-of if the weather would make the experience impractical or unenjoyable. If this happens, I will try to schedule another class and will issue refunds to all who can’t make it.
